DUALFORCES® 000 GROUP

Established in Los Angeles in 2021, DUALFORCES® 000 GROUP is a heterarchical, open-source group working across creative practice, defense, and philosophy. Its central aim is to create adaptive training spaces where women and people from marginalized communities can develop practical skills for personal safety.

Jiu-Jitsu and other martial arts form the foundation of the training. Courses also bring in de-escalation, situational awareness, and ontological security, giving participants ways to assess their environment, make decisions, and respond with intention.

Instructor Robert Abeyta Jr. draws on experience training individuals and groups around the world in defense and safety.
